Perfect Family vs. My Family
by: Mel Merquita
A
Family is one of the most basic units in society. I am going to compare the
ideal “perfect family” and my family. First and foremost, A family for me is a
group of people united due to blood relationships or law, a normal family must
have commitment, unity and balance.
Commitment
is like a promise. It is something we hang on to in times necessary or sometimes,
forever. A normal family must be committed to each other. A perfect family
accepts each other no matter what, like if one is different they would accept
the individual. They must always be optimistic, or seeing the benefit in all
things. A perfect family must also have a strong bond to each other. On the
other hand, my family shows commitment by laughing at the problems we
encounter. We don’t make it a big deal not unless necessary. If we need to
solve it we find the simplest solution.
We are also optimistic and we share the same point of view in life.
A
country must have her citizens united and unity starts in the family. A normal
family must be united. The ideal perfect family is strongly united. In terms of
belief and conflicts they stand united. A family that prays together stays
together, they say. My family is like the ideal perfect family when it comes to
unity. We all stand together in good times and in bad. We all share the same
belief in God and the Christian faith, and like all families, it’s all for one
and one for all.
By balance, I meant equality. By
equality I meant that, if one knows something everyone must know about it. It’s
like this big forum. Research proved that a child that shares everything to
their family would probably end up successful. A perfect family must have
balance in everything. Like in financial terms, the perfect family must have
resources for everyone. Everyone must know each other equally so that there
will be no secrets. No secrets mean that there is a less chance for family
conflicts. Like the perfect family, my family has enough resources for
everyone. The difference is we share things that we think must be shared. We
keep secrets from one another and respect other’s privacy.
My family has always been close perfect. I can say I
can’t ask for anything better. But in context my family is not perfect. We have
are own share of flaws just as any normal family in the world. There is this
saying that nobody is perfect, so if one can’t, how much more can a group of
people be. Either way, I love my family.
